Birth connects us to the past, grounds us in the present and creates the future.

We all deserve an empowering birth

The present day polarized toxic birth culture limits our ability to have an empowering birth.

Through the Big Birth bullies of hurry, worry, fear and doubt, the woman transforms into an automated body who at some point relinquishes her inner voice in exchange for external cues. We can get stuck in a victim, villain, and hero triangle that keeps us from tapping into our power and our ability to truly manifest.

But, no matter how far we get from our intuitive compass, we can always return.

In my body of work, I seek to facilitate this journey back to inner knowing.

The way we birth can impact the way we live.

How would birth culture transform if…

  • We did not judge women for how they gave birth?

  • We spent time before pregnancy and during pregnancy to learn about our bodies and what actually happens during birth? (eg. the hormonal blue print)

  • We considered our own transformation during pregnancy and birth?

  • We fused together ancestral wisdom and our own creativity to craft our very own birth rituals and ceremony ?

  • We built nourishing communities of support?

  • We trusted ourselves?!

Join me, woman, birth worker, or birth curious in reclaiming birth as a rite of passage.
